Why families choose in-home

Therapy that fits into real family life

A familiar environment

Children stay calmer and more focused in the place they feel safest — making it easier to learn new skills and stay engaged through every session.

Family involvement built in

Parents and siblings can actively participate, watch what works, and practice strategies alongside the therapist in real time.

Skills practiced where they're used

Mealtime, bedtime, transitions, sibling play — your child practices the skills exactly where they'll need to use them, every day.

No travel time

No commute to the clinic means more time for therapy, family, and everything else on your plate.

How sessions work

What in-home ABA looks like

  1. A BCBA visits for the initial assessment. They get to know your child, your home, and your goals — and design a personalized treatment plan.
  2. A registered behavior technician (RBT) runs the regular sessions. Your dedicated provider becomes a familiar, trusted face for your child.
  3. Sessions typically last 2–4 hours, several times per week. Frequency is tailored to your child's needs and your family's schedule.
  4. The BCBA supervises and adjusts the plan as your child progresses. You'll see consistent updates, data, and milestone moments.

ABA therapy is likely covered by your insurance

Michigan law requires most major insurance plans to cover ABA therapy for children with an autism diagnosis. We currently accept Aetna, Priority Health, and Blue Cross Blue Shield — and we verify your benefits at no cost.

"We are so grateful to be working with Achieve! Chani is truly amazing — kind, patient, and so dedicated. We feel incredibly supported by our team, especially BCBA Rivka and Roman. Roman really takes the time to connect with my son through his love of Pokémon and Star Wars, and that genuine connection has made such a meaningful impact. It's rare to find a team that not only understands your child but celebrates who they are."
